Premier League weekend’s matches are over and now, we would like to talk about what we find interesting from this game week.
1. Chelsea’s one point at home came from excellent mental

Arsenal are now in a status quo where you have to win games if you want to be the Premier League champion. But did Arsenal show that in the match against Chelsea? The home team will be more than pleased with that one point after Moises Caicedo was sent off in the first half.
While The Gunner might seem jaded and their performance wasn’t their best. The Blues were excellent in maintaining the tempo of the game despite going outnumbered for most of the game. They really deserve the one point from that match.
2. Amorim admitted he steals from others in the Premier League

Ruben Amorim said that Manchester United have found their groove with set pieces. Last match against Palace, United scored two goals from set pieces to get home with all the points from London. Zirkzee’s brilliant finish with the clever pass from Bruno Fernandes’ free-kick and Mount’s low drive shot after the set up from the captain made it the goal number 10 from set pieces for Man United in The Premier League, same number as the “dark arts” Arsenal.
Amorim admitted that having some more time with his players during the week, really helped him to build the players’ chemistry. They can also try more things in the training ground. “We work a lot and we learn a lot in England,” he said. “I think you are used to seeing.”
3. Emery with his new goals to set for Villa

Aston Villa have found solutions to their massive problems at the start of the Premier League season to get their seven wins out of the past eight games with the latest win against Wolves at Villa Park. Their winning goal was scored by Boubakar Kamara from outside of the box again.
Aston Villa scored 56% of their goals from the outside of the penalty area, and they are now having a good run of form. Emery stated that he needs to boost the goals that will be scored in each game because of last year’s failure to qualify for the Champions League. They missed the spot after they were tight on points with Newcastle but lost due to goal difference in the final Premier League position.

4. Thomas Frank’s tests as Tottenham’s head coach

Thomas Frank is currently in trouble at Spurs. Fans started to be unconvinced with him as the head coach. Tottenham is a hard riddle that Frank is unable to solve in a short time. After his brilliant start of the season, Spurs look like a team with no spirit to win the game right now. It also happened to the previous managers that took Tottenham’s hot seat. Frank hit on the bad situation after fans boos towards Vicario after his mistake that led to Fulham’s second goal by Harry Wilson. He said “They can’t be true Tottenham fans,” which sparked a lot of negative reactions from the fans who paid a lot of money to watch the game.
5. Phil Foden importance for City’s plans

Pep Guardiola has agreed with the statement from Thomas Tuchel that Phil Foden is an important player that could play freely and gives more contributions when he plays in the more central area of the pitch. “I agree with Thomas. I like Phil behind the striker, close to the box. The guys who have this sense of goal have to be close to the goal. But he can play as a winger.” said Guardiola.
