Premier League: December may not begin as Chelsea hoped for after they lost the first game of the month against Leeds United in the league, but November was a very good month for Chelsea as they went unbeaten in all competitions.
The blues started November with three points from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time, then went to beat two bottom league teams, Wolves and Burnley before and after the international break. Before holding Arsenal with 10 men at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League. Three wins and a draw is a good run for any club in the league.
Enzo Maresca, the head coach of Chelsea is nominated as Premier League’s manager of the month after that impressive result in November. However, it won’t be easy as Mikel Arteta with his Arsenal side collected 8 points last month and successfully retained the top of the league with two wins and two draws. Fabian Hurzeler also collected 10 points with Brigthton.

Unai Emery, Pep Guardiola, and Marco Silva all collected three wins and one defeat last month. With Pep and Silva facing each other in an insane nine goals game where Pep came out as the winner.
Reece James is also nominated in this month’s award. His absence against Leeds was a very big hit for The Blues as they failed to get any points from Elland Road. James’ performance in November helped Chelsea a lot with his leadership and his ability to bring the ball forward and his ability with the set piece, with the most notable performance against Arsenal where he registered an assist and led his team to not lose the game.
After last season’s injuries, this season will be his comeback season, and Maresca managed his game time very well. This season, James has started most of the games in the league and his presence really helps Chelsea to get their wins in all competitions.
Some good news also comes from the former Blues, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall who is nominated for the Premier League’s goal of the month for November. He has enjoyed his time at Everton after having a rough time to get regular game time at Chelsea last season.
For the Premier League’s Save of the month, Guglielmo Vicario gets nominated after he saved the shot from Joao Pedro against Chelsea, but that didn’t matter as The Blues won the match.
Chelsea’s Next Fixtures in The Premier League

In December, Chelsea will play seven matches. Five matches in the Premier League, one match in the Champions League, and one match in the Carabao Cup. In the league, The Blues will face Bournemouth away, Everton at home, Newcastle away, Aston Villa at home, and Bournemouth again at home.
In the Champions League, Chelsea will be facing Atalanta away to Italy, and in the EFL Carabao Cup, The blues will face Cardiff City away.
Seven games in a month certainly packed, but with the tight schedule in the league and other games for other competitions, Chelsea’s players need to be managed to avoid any sort of injury.
