Premier League club will play again in the Mid Week in the continuation of the league.
One of the interesting matches will be the clash between Newcastle United against Tottenham Hotspurs that will happen on Tuesday.
Newcastle and Spurs currently sit with the same points in the Premier League table only separated by goal difference.
The host will head into the game with high spirit after their 4-1 victory away against Everton on the weekend, while Spurs will surely look at the 1-2 defeat at home against Fulham as a motivation to get a good result to save their season.
Eddie Howe’s previous six winless away games finally came to an end this week after Malik Thiaw’s brace, and one goal each from Woltemade and Lewis Miley helped the team to win the game.
Newcastle have a very good record of unbeaten in the 10 midweek straight games at Saint James’s Park. That will be a record that the pliers don’t want to be finished this week of course.
While the host are in a good mood before the match thanks to the win and also their good record in their own ground. The away team looks like they have a nightmare after conceding two goals in under six minutes in their own stadium.
The atmosphere around the team also did not look good after their three losses in all competitions, and also third losses from four games in the Premier League. There are reports that said the situation in the stadium is getting toxic after constant boos from the fans toward Vicario after his costly mistake.
The defeat against Fulham also made them match the record of 10 Premier League losses in their home ground in 2025. A bad record that was recorded in 1994 and 2003. With that bad run of form in all competitions, Spurs will need to get a good result away from home to lift the morale of the team.
But it will be hard to do because Newcastle have won six of their last seven meetings in both home and away.

Both teams’ performances are still inconsistent, so it will be interesting to watch which manager could manage their team better in this condition.
Newcastle certainly have the upper hand because their performances are getting better in every match they play, and the chemistry of the players are getting stronger with the senior figures in the team really helping the new signings to adapt faster.
Team News Ahead of The Game in The Premier League

Nick Pope was added to the long list of injured players for Newcastle with Kieran Trippier and Yoanne Wissa already added to the list. Sven Botman on the other hand is looking toward the next fitness test to see whether or not he’s ready to play in mid week.
Good news for Spurs, as Cuti Romero will be available after his yellow card suspension last game. He will immediately come in to replace Kevin Danso. Read more Premier League’s team news at Price In UK
WIth Romero back to the squad. Tottenham now have six players that are still unavailable because of injuries. James Maddison, Yves Bissouma, Kota Takai, Radu Dragusin, Dominic Solanke, and Dejan Kilisevki are the names that still need more time before they can hit the pitch again.
