Premier League: Manchester City will head into gameweek 15 without Rodri who is still suffering an injury as they will face Sunderland this weekend. The Ballon D’Or winner has been dealing with hamstring injury and yet confirmed to be fit to hit the pitch in a short time.
Since last season, Rodri had minimal impact for Manchester City after the ACL injury. He made a return at the Club World Cup but then a hamstring injury hit him and continued to give him trouble, and Pep Guardiola also confirmed that The Spaniard won’t be able to join the squad.

Sunderland As Premier League’s Underdog
Sunderland will come to the Etihad Stadium with a strong mentality as usual. They have mixed results coming to this game, after 1 win, three draws and one loss in the last five games. As usual, they will come as the underdog, and they certainly can punish any crack that is available.
The Black Cats have been showing a solid team with Granit Xhaka as their leader not only controlling the game, but also giving directions to his teammates in both attack and defense. The Bundesliga winner is also already familiar with the Premier League during his time at Arsenal, and needs no time to adapt back to England.
Certainly one of the signings of the season. In terms of players quality, Sunderland might lose against Man City, but with their strong mentality and a strong will to stay in the Premier League next season, they will give Man City a hard fight and try to get positive result from the Etihad Stadium.
