Premier League: Nottingham Forest will host Tottenham Hotspurs in the gameweek 16 at City Ground. Both teams are in the inconsistent form and in the two different spectrums since the start of the season.

Nottingham Forest were having a bad start of the season and even being in the relegation zone after Nuno Espirito Santos was sacked by the club. They then signed Ange Postecoglou who was the previous manager of Spurs. It didn’t take long before Ange also got sacked by the club after horrible results. Sean Dyche then came in and Forest started to get positive results.

Thomas Frank on the other hand had a good start of the Premier League season after winning three opening games with Spurs. The beautiful story couldn’t continue farther as Spurs had an inconsistent run after the international break.

Spurs currently sit in the 11th position in the table with 22 points. If they could beat Forest, they could move up to 5th position on par with Manchester United and Chelsea with 25 points.

For Forest, they are currently in the 16th position with 15 points. They certainly need any point they could get to get away from the relegation zone.

From the last five matches against each other, Tottenham wins three out of the five games. Nottingham Forest got two wins, and all that were from last season in both home and away games in the Premier League. There were no games that ended in a draw for this match up.

Team News Ahead of The Premier League Game

Nuno Tavares injured

Nottingham Forest will come without Ola Aina, Chris Wood, Awoniyi, Gunn, and Yates. They will be sidelined for longer due to their injuries. It is still not confirmed when they could be back to the squad, but certainly it will be longer for some. Matz Sels is also doubted to play because he had minor issue.

This will be a big blow for Forest as Sels has been good in keeping the goal even from dangerous chances.

Tottenham are in the worst situation as they are losing seven players with injury and some of them are the important players for Spurs. Dragusin, Kulusevski, and James Maddison are all out due to knee injury and would need some more time to recover.

Yves Bissouma and Dominic Solanke also still haven’t recovered from their ankle injury. Udogie and Takai are still far from fully recovered. Spurs certainly don’t have the easiest time, with all those injuries, Spurs are really lacking creativity that often cost them precious points this season.
