Premier League first away win this season
Newcastle's Premier League first away win this season

Premier League Gameweek 13 is under way with some interesting matches going on. The first spotlight will be shown to Everton. Their impressive win against Man United at their own ground last week surely gave them a boost in their confidence.

And the fans would actually love to see the same result as they are going to their own stadium to face Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United

But it looked like Eddie Howe had found ways to break down Everton’s defense in this match.

Eddie Howe and his Newcastle side look like they finally get it all shorted out and having decent performances in these few weeks including a win against Man City in the Premier League last week.

Newcastle have found it difficult to win at away ground as they had taken the lead but ended up not winning the game.

This time, Newcastle really sharp and successfully punished every defensive mistake by Everton, and already secured the win in the first half of the game.

Nick Woltemade and Antony Elanga gave the Everton defender a nightmare today with their performance.

Their first goal came from a corner kick that was beautifully delivered by Lewis Miley, the accurate set piece was headed by Malick Thiaw, their new signing this season. This goal was scored in the 55 seconds into the game and is the fastest goal scored in the Premier League this season, beating Phil Foden’s 59 seconds goal that he scored earlier today.

Everton responded well after that goal and gave Newcastle some fights. But that didn’t last long after Jordan Pickford made a mistake after he failed to intercept Lewis Miley’s shot that directed right at Pickford’s body.

Everton hadn’t reacted as well like the first goal this time as their midfield that lacks qualty because of the absence of Idrissa Gueye was too easy to break by Newcastle.

Newcastle’s third goals came after a brilliant pass from Livramento to Elanga failed to be intercepted by Tim Iroegbunam, Elanga then passed the ball to the unmarked Woltemade who then calmly faced Pickford and lobbed the ball to the empty net.

It was already a game over for Everton because they looked completely lost after that goal.

Newcastle Still Dangerous in The Second Half to Secure First Premier League’s Away Win

Iroegbunam then replaced in the second half by Carloz Alcaraz who seemed to make some impact on the field after he came in.

Newcastle, despite already leading by three goals, were still looking dangerous and added the fourth after Pickford made two brilliant saves to deny Woltemade and Harvey Barnes. The ball then came to Lewis Hall’s foot and he sent an accurate cross to the far post where Malik Thiaw was and scored his second goal in this match.

Everton got one goal back after Dewsbury-Hall’s brilliant control after a good pass by Tarkowsky and shot the ball that failed to be saved by Ramsdale. Read more analysist and Premier League news on Price In UK

Newcastle completely dominated this match with Everton looking so easy to tear apart from their midfield, and another Premier League win for Eddie Howe’s side this season.

David Moyes later on the post match conference admitted that his Everton side weren’t playing at their own standard.

“They were much better than us,” admitted Moyes. “We actually played pretty well with the ball. But the bigger thing was how quick they broke. Every time we gave the ball away they got on to our back line too quickly and it caused us problems. We couldn’t stop it.”

David Moyes’ experience on the Premier League says it all

Premier League is a very competitive league. You can win with a brilliant performance this week and get hammered right after that.
