Manchester United will enter the January transfer window with a list of players in their hands. United have issues in some positions in the team and they want to solve those issues with as little time as possible.
One month to go before the winter transfer window and Man United are once again looking to strengthen their squad. Reports have been saying that incoming and outgoing will be possible for United in January. The Red Devils spent more than £200 million sign attacking reinforcement and goalkeeper in the summer, and they might spend more money in January to strengthen other areas.
The problem is, if Manchester United decide to spend money next month, they need to do some business to sell their players. Kobbie Miainoo is one the names that wants a move due to his limited game time under Ruben Amorim. Napoli are reported to be interested should United allow him to leave.
Joshua Zirkzee is another Manchester United’s player who is looking to get a move in January. With him scoring his first goal this season against Crystal Palace. AS Roma are one of the interested sides to sign him this January.
Looking at this season’s performance and issues, Manchester United will likely prioritise a signing of midfielders. There are three main options on the list. Carlos Baleba, Elliot Anderson, and Adam Wharton. But none of them are likely to be signed in January, because all of them are important players in their respective teams.
While United are prioritising midfield overhaul, they couldn’t ignore the market for the other position. Antoine Semeyo for example has a release clause of £65 million that could be activated in January. But according to TeamTalk, the release clause will go down to £50 million next summer.
It certainly creates a dilemma for Manchester United. They could wait for summer for the price to go down, but other clubs could make a move in January and secure Semenyo’s signature.

Reports from Sport Time claims that Manchester United have made a bid to sign Olympiacos young midfielder, Christos Mouzakitis for £25 million, but that bid was immediately rejected by Olympiacos. They reportedly want around £35 million in order to allow the deal to progress.
The same report also said that Real Madrid also made an almost similar offer and also got rejected.
Manchester United Need More Attacking Players
After Amorim hinting that he needs attacking minded wing-backs for next transfer, Roy Keane made a statement after the game against West Ham speaking on Sky Sports:

“When you look at the squad, considering the money that has been spent over the last few years, they do lack strength in depth, particularly from the attacking options.
“When you’re trying to see a game out tonight, even when Mason Mount came on, and I know sometimes players seem to take longer to get up to speed than others, he was like a schoolboy out there.
“You’re looking for players to come on with a bit of presence, give me the ball, I’ve come on as a sub, I’ll give you a brilliant 20, 25 minutes.
“If anything, they brought the levels down, that seemed to be the case tonight.”
Ruben Amorim on the post match, following the draw against West Ham hinted that he wants another attacking player with characteristic. More Manchester United’s transfer news can be found in Price In UK
To the Sky Sports he said:
“We had a big opportunity with Cunha. We had the ball near the box but the crosses were not good. Sometimes the players’ characteristics inside the box are not good. They are not enough to score goals from that position.”
He added: “[The performance] was not constant. We had good moments and we lost control a little bit in the first half and a little bit in the second half after the goal. We should have closed the game when we scored the first one.
“The game was in control. We knew it. Let’s defend far from the box. We knew set pieces would be a problem with the difference in height in the team but we could do it. We could maintain the ball after the first goal and again we lost two points.”
