Manchester United will visit Molineux Stadium in the gameweek 15 of the Premier League. United will try to get back to winning ways again after yet another draw in the mid week.

A win against the bottom of the league Wolves will get Man United to the 5th position, and level on points with Chelsea, who were drawn by Bournemouth on Saturday. Chelsea were in the title conversation not long ago.

It’s a huge difference for Manchester United who last season were sitting in the 14th position after 14 games and got very close to the relegation zone a couple of times.

Even with United’s strong start of the season, Wolves shouldn’t be underestimated. Last season The Red Devils got beaten twice by Wolves in both home and away games.

Injury News For Manchester United

Matthijs de Ligt will be back into the squad this week after being absent in the game where Manchester United drew against West Ham. He was having a small issue that prohibited him from playing the last game.

Harry Maguire seems to need a longer time to recover from his thigh injury he got from the game against Tottenham Hotspurs. Earlier check said that he will be sidelined for three games, but the medical team of United don’t want to be rushed and put him back on the pitch before he is truly ready.

Benjamin Sesko also will still be out to recover from his knee injury. It was reported that he might be out until the end of the year. This might indicate that Manchester United will face Newcastle without the presence of Sesko in the only Boxing day match this season.

How Manchester United Could Line Up Against Wolves (3-4-2-1)

Ruben Amorim making Substitution for Manchester United

GK: Senne Lammens- Lammens has been a steady figure in front of the goal for United. After the chaos brought by Onana and Bayindir, his presence looks like a boost of confidence for the defender in front of him.

RCB: Leny Yoro- Yoro was replaced by Ayden Heaven last game after his struggling performance against Crystal Palace. But he played in the second half and showed that he could get back and gave a solid performance.

CCB: Matthijs de Ligt-  Without his presence in the last game, Manchester looked like they lost so much aggression usually brought by De Ligt, and United were playing with one out and out center back against West Ham.

LCB: Luke Shaw- Shaw who was always injured last season finds himself starting every Premier League game this season. His performance has not always been solid,  but he still could deliver good performance playing as center back.

RWB: Amad Diallo- WIth Wolves also playing in back three formation, Amad will have more defensive duty to do. But he certainly will be a threat for Wolves’ defense, his connection with Mbuemo always creates a problem in the wide area on the right.

CM: Casemiro- Casemiro looks like he will always be in the starting 11 with his performance this season. He found back his form after last season he was considered done by many people. His ability really helps Man United controlling the midfield like no one could

CM: Bruno Fernandes- The captain is slowly becoming the type of midfield United need. He started to be the one that controlled the tempo from deeper areas, and slowly started to trust his teammates more.

LWB: Diogo Dalot-  After scoring his first goal of the season against West Ham, He certainly got a boost of confidence Amorim expected him to be fit after a small knock last game.

RAM: Bryan Mbuemo- He has not been at his best for the last three games, but many expect him to give the Wolves’ defense a hard time.

LAM: Mason Mount- He had his first full game against Palace then got benched to play in the second half against West Ham. With Sesko still injured and Cunha back, Mount is the best fit to start the game.

ST: Matheus Cunha- Joshua Zirkzee having a hard time playing as a striker means that Cunha will fill that gap and Amorim will play the front three that he put for the start of the league.
