Manchester United were having some players injured when they defeated Crystal Palace on Sunday. The likes of Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, and Harry Maguire were left out last time due to their injuries.
There is good news as Matheus Cunha is already back in the first team training, and Amorim also confirmed before the match against Palace that Cunha will most likely be back in the game against West Ham.
Cunha was injured right before the humiliating loss at home against 10-men Everton. He had a head injury during training after the collision with his teammate.
His absence has created a problem for United because Sesko is also injured, and Man United don’t have any striker left in the squad as Zirkzee is more comfortable playing as one of the no.10 in the Amorim’s 3-4-3 tactic.
Manchester United’s manager, Ruben Amorim would be happy to welcome Cunha back into the squad ahead of the match versus West Ham this Thursday evening.
Cunha posted a picture on his Instagram story a photo of himself in training gear at Carrington with a simple massage, “Back, back, back”
This message could mean that he is ready for the meeting with Nuno Espirito Santos’ team, however, it is still uncertain whether he will start the game or will come from the bench.
Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes looked like he took a knock towards the end of the match against Palace, but Amorim didn’t really seem to be concerned about that in the post match interview.

Harry Maguire is still in a lot of doubt for his thigh injury that happened two matches ago. It won’t be a big issue because Lisandro Martines who was injured for nine months is already back to the team.
Martinez will likely play a role in Thursday’s match from the bench as Amorim said he will be very cautious with the Butcher after his long Injury, but he will surely get some minutes here and there.
Lisandro took a part on the 80’ minute after coming from the bench to replace Luke Shaw. It will be interesting whether or not we will see Shaw playing LWB while Martinez is in the LCB. Read more interesting article about Manchester United and Premier League at Price In UK
Not so good news as Benjamin Sesko will be out again next match as he is working on his recovery after the knee injury during the match against Tottenham.
How Well Amorim Manages Injuries in Manchester United

Manchester United’s head coach, Ruben Amorim has been doing well in managing players’ condition this season. Unlike two seasons ago and earlier part of the last season when so many United’s players are missing due to injuries.
The best example of how good Amorim manages players from injury is Luke Shaw. He was injured for the most part of last season, and this season, Shaw has been in the starting 11 for most games and often stays on the pitch until the games are finished.
The same could also be said to Mason Mount who has been so important for Amorim. This season, Mount had just a little setback earlier in the season, but it was minor that he could back not long after that.
It is a very positive point to see outside the performance of the pitch. To see players getting fit and not worrying about them getting injured if they stay on the pitch for too long. Not only good for the players, this is also good for the fans to see their favorite players always ready.
