Manchester United’s defender, Diogo Dalot is being monitored by Spanish giant Real Madrid. It looks like Madrid are looking for reinforcement in their defense as both of their right backs, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dani Carvajal are out injured at the moment. Leaving them using Fede Valverde as their starting right back.
Sources from TeamTALK confirmed that transfer Speculation Heats Up, and Manchester United’s technical Director Jason Wilcox is aware of the situation and said to be open for selling if the asking price is sufficient. Beside Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are also admiring the Portuguese
Madrid will likely do their approach in the summer of 2026. While Wilcox and Amorim seem to be happy with his recent performance, the idea of selling him is also doable since United are also looking raise more funds for their next summer transfer.
But if Man United Decide to let Dalot leave next summer, they will also need to sign his replacement as currently they only have Dalot and Dorgu as the left wing-back in the squad.
Diogo Dalot this season has been playing as a left wing-back in Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 formation. It is his seventh season at Manchester United and he was having a loan spell at AC Milan.
His contract at Manchester United will expire in 2028 with an option to extend it by another season. This could be a little leverage for United to demand more transfer fees to Real Madrid
