Man United are currently still in their rebuilding phase after Ruben Amorim was appointed as the manager back in November last year.
The available players that he has in the team seem like they don’t suit the 3-4-3 tactic he brought. He doesn’t seem to have the correct player profiles in many areas of the pitch.
Ruben Amorim as the head coach has called Man United to sign a wing-back with an attacking minded play-style like Amad Diallo to improve the attacking side of the team.
Last game, Amorim watched as his team failed to score a goal against 10 man Everton and they were beaten at home.
Man United’ former coach, David Moyes’ solid defense, certainly hard to break down with Jordan Pickford also had one of his best performances this season.
Ruben’s substitutions in the second half didn’t really help to break the immense defensive set up that was so compact.
Question raised when Amorim decided to subbed off Patrick Dorgu to a more defensive minded Diogo Dalot when Manchester United really needed a goal to get the game back again.
The Portuguese coach later pointed out that he has limited options in the wide area, and he really uses some help to sign an Amad Diallo type of player for the role of his wing-backs.
“We need time to improve the characteristics of the team. I’ve said that over the last year,” Amorim answered when asked about more options at wing-back next season.
“To give an example, in the last game, we should have an Amad with the right foot to put on the other side to play against 10 men.”

“It is these characteristics that in time we will try to get to be a better team. If we are the perfect set-up to play in this way, not yet. But like any team, we need time to put the right characteristics into every position.”
Man United Next Opposition
Man United will face Crystal Palace on Sunday with the motivation to end the three games without a win including two draws against Forest and Spurs and last week lost against Everton.

Amorim will face a team with three at the back formation of Oliver Glasner, and he admitted that this Palace team have better understanding of their tactic than his current United team.
“We play in a different way. You can understand that by data. It is hard to explain everything,” said the Man United’s head coach.
“They are a different club and they are doing things better than us. That is quite simple.”
About Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 This Season
Amorim’s 3-4-3 certainly get some improvements this season. They look sharper in the attacking phase of the game. But lack of option in the wide area and also in the midfield can sometime make it difficult for them. Whether it’s in the second half when Ruben needs to make changes, or when injuries hit their players.

Some pundits and even Amorim himself said that Man United are still need more transfer window in order for him to get the correct player profiles that can play and fully understand his tactic. But fans are split into groups that support the coach and groups that want Amorim gone. Get more information about Manchester United in Price In UK
The fans groups that want Amorim step down from his position argue that the results are too bad for a giant club like Man United. And they certainly want the results to be better in a shorter time rather than waiting for longer.
