Following Lily Gladstone’s historic award in 2024 for Killers of the Flower Moon and Paul Walter Hauser’s Best Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series victory for Black Bird in 2023, these nominations represent Apple’s most recent Golden Globe Award recognition.

Until today, Apple TV has been honored with 658 wins and 2,958 awards. Including multi-Emmy Award-winning and history-making comedies The Studio and Ted Lasso, and Oscar Best Picture winner CODA.

One of the nominated series actresses, Seehorn from Pluribus, expressed her excitement regarding the awards. She says laughingly, “Well,if she’s gonna behave like she did with her Book Club — I never thought she was mocking her fans, and I think she actually thinks her work is of quality, but she’s always got to beat people to the punch. She’s terrified to like let somebody else say something bad first, which I understand the self deprecation part of it. So while I’m just going to let myself feel excited and thankful today, I think Carol would probably immediately try to find ways to say she didn’t care.”

However, several site users seem to be disappointed with the nomination. One comment on Reddit says, “I love every show under the drama category but, I’m sorry, The Pitt should win easily. Of all of those shows, it’s truly the most heartbreaking and yet thrilling. For fans of gritty TV I think it’s an easy “must watch” and has absolutely ZERO dull moments. Truly masterful artwork — writing, casting, editing, and cinematography — every moment is true cinema.”

That’s all the updates regarding Apple‘s TV series that is being nominated at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards.
