On its official website, the company announced Fitness+‘s expansion to 28 new markets, including Chile, Hong Kong, India, the Netherlands, Singapore, Taiwan, and more. The company also adds that Japan will follow with the launch early next year.

Strength, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, Dance, Cycling, Kickboxing, and Meditation are just a few of the 12 different workout genres that customers in 49 countries and regions may now enjoy on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. The episodes range in length from five to forty-five minutes.

The company’s vice president of Fitness Technologies, Jay Blahnik, said, “Through its seamless integration across the company’s devices, Fitness+ has helped inspire users to live a healthier day. From seeing real-time, personal metrics right onscreen with Watch or AirPods Pro 3, to the ability to bring the service with you wherever you go on iPhone or iPad, we’re delivering unmatched motivation to users. We couldn’t be more excited to bring this experience to even more users around the globe with our biggest expansion yet.”

This expansion significantly increases the company’s market potential by making it available to users in 49 territories worldwide. The potential impact is increased subscribers, which will contribute to the company’s AAPL lucrative service revenue and strengthen the hardware ecosystem in key markets such as India, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Introducing New Apple Fitness Features

Here are the new features Fitness+ brings along the market expansions:

  • Spanish, German, and Japanese Dubbing

Fitness+ now offers digitally dubbed versions of workouts and meditations in Spanish and German, with Japanese dubbing to follow early next year, coinciding with the service’s availability in Japan, to further reach users worldwide.

These dubbed workouts and meditations feature audio generated from the original voices of each of Fitness+‘s 28 trainers each week. Additionally, workout episodes will automatically play in the selected language if dubbed is already set up and available.

  • New Added K-Pop Genre

Not wanting to miss out on the K-pop hype that has been growing rapidly in recent years, Fitness+ is now adding a new K-pop music genre that will be available in all types of workouts with global hits from top artists, along with other music genres, including Upbeat Anthems, Latest Hits, Hip-Hop/R&B, Latin Grooves, and more.

These expanding markets gain various local market reactions. One comment on Reddit expressed their excitement reads, “Wife uses this every day. I will start using it tomorrow….” Another user also gave their testimonials, as well as its critique, “Amazing! Can’t believe that apple didn’t allow many of their European customers to access the fitness videos in English for this long. I really want to try it, I hope that they add some new apple one tiers like the premier one. The current 200GB family plan is terrible and makes me double pay for storage since that’s not enough.”

That’s all the updates regarding Apple Fitness +‘s market expansion to 28 new countries, from Chile to Japan.
