Premier League: Arsenal will face Wolverhampton Wanderers to continue the journey to challenge for the title.
Arsenal are now still on top of the Premier League table with 33 points, with two points advantage from Manchester City. Which means they need to win this game and hope that Man City will drop some points to make more gaps.
Arsenal lost 2-1 against Aston Villa last week after the very late goal from Emanuel Buendia. At this point, The Gunners can’t afford to lose more points and really need to do everything right to retain the top position.
The Gunners only had two wins from their last five matches in the Premier League, and certainly it could harm their title run because Manchester City are in the good form. With only two points from Man City and Three points from Villa, Arsenal couldn’t afford to lose points in this match.
Wolverhampton on the other hand are in a very difficult position currently. Zero wins this season and only two points after 15 games is not a good image to have for a team that has been competing in the Premier League for eight consecutive seasons.
Arsenal who have been really solid defensively is not an ideal opponent for a team who are looking for their first win of the season, but they must do it. They are currently in a five lose streak and losing to Arsenal will get them to be on par with Burnley with six lose streak.
Lack of invest in the summer and losing more important players surely not an ideal situation for any clubs,
In their past five meetings in the Premier League, Arsenal always win against Wolves home and away. Arteta certainly wants to keep that positive records and win this game, but Rob Edwards will certainly do something to avoid another loss for his team
Team News Ahead of Premier League Clash

Arsenal will continue their Premier League Journey without William Saliba, Christian Mosquera and Kai Havertz who are still declared unfit for the next game. Gabriel Maghalaes is still unknown and Arteta probably will be cautious with his condition.before playing him full time. The good news for Arteta is Gabriel Jesus is already back to the squad after he was included and even took a part in the The Gunners’ 3-0 win against Club Brugge in the UCL.
It will be a boost for Arteta because he has been using Mikel Merino as a striker to be the rotation option for Viktor Gyokerez who is yet to find his form for the London Team.
For Wolves, they will be without Joao Gomes, Rodrigo Gomes, and Marshall Muntesi who are still in the recovery room. Without Joao Gomes, Wolves are looking more vulnerable in the midfield, and it could be seen during the match against Manchester United where they were beaten badly in the midfield.
