Your Friends & Neighbors: An Apple TV+ Black Comedy Crime Drama
“This is a world where everybody has been so busy climbing the mountain for so many years, and they’ve reached the top. But it’s only now they realize it may have been the wrong mountain to climb,” said Tropper when introducing his drama.
In the Apple TV+ black comedic crime drama Your Friends & Neighbors, Andrew “Coop” Cooper (played by Jon Hamm) is a disgraced hedge fund manager who resorts to burglary after experiencing a devastating divorce and job loss. To support his lifestyle, he begins robbing his affluent neighbors, but doing so exposes their terrible secrets and draws him into a murder investigation. Through Coop’s behavior and internal monologues, the show delves into the dark underbelly of the wealthy community.
In collaboration with the company, bestselling novelist Tropper created Your Friends & Neighbors. As part of his deal with Apple TV, he became executive producer, director, and showrunner for Tropper Ink. Together with Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, Lori Keith Douglas, and Stephanie Laing, who directed six episodes, Hamm is an executive producer in addition to being an actor.
Emmy Award nominee James Marsden joins the cast of this drama in the next season, while Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt, and Donovan Colan are among the returning cast members.

What’s Coming In Season Two?
As the previous season escalated when Paul Leavitt, the neighbor’s ex-husband, was discovered dead, that led Coop was identified as the main suspect because his DNA was recovered at the scene, and a gun was placed in his vehicle. Coop is set to confess, but he tries to clean his name after his ex-wife pushes him to fight back.
In season two, Andrew Cooper doubles down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk.
From creator Jonathan Tropper, the 10-episode sophomore season will make its global debut on Apple TV with one episode on Friday, April 3, 2026, followed by one new episode weekly through Friday, June 5, 2026.
