Heartwarming video shows young Ed Sheeran enjoying gifts from singer after being invited to mega fan's sixth birthday party

The mother of a young Ed Sheeran mega fan who received an epic birthday surprise from the singer after he invited her to his party has shared some heartwarming clips of her enjoying his surprise gifts.

Last week, Alexandra Lamoureux from Utah went viral when she revealed that the 32-year-old British chart-topper had sent her son Ren many gifts – including his own guitar, microphone and personalized notepad – after the child asked for his sixth birthday to be themed.

He explained that while little Wren was sure the Bad Habits crooner was going to be at the celebration – and unfortunately couldn’t make it because he was busy with his world tour, Ed sent the birthday boy a package full of goodies.

Now, Alexandra has revealed how much the gift means to her son as she shared several clips showing the boy using each one via TikTok.

Last week, Alexandra Lamoureux from Utah revealed that the 32-year-old British chart-topper had mailed her son Ren several gifts after the child invited him to his sixth party.

Now Alexandra has revealed how much the gift means to her son

One clip shows Ren practicing with his new guitar, while another shows him walking around his house with the case on his back – which is almost twice his size.

‘Everything I’ve seen since opening a birthday present from my son Ed Sheeran,’ she began in the video, which has been viewed more than 83,000 times.

One clip showed Wren practicing with his new guitar, while another showed him walking around his house with the case on his back – which was almost twice his size.

The youngster was seen ‘making sure everything was still in order’, including his signed copy of the hitmaker’s CD minus his and ‘admiring Ed on his cake’.

A different video shows him bragging about the gift to his friends at a party, and a sixth includes him playing with a stuffed animal that came in Ed’s package.

Back in June, the mother of three opened up about her son’s desire to have a musical sensation at his birthday party.

‘Recently, my five, almost six-year-old has been obsessed with Ed Sheeran,’ she begins in the video.

‘She loves him, she loves his music, she begs for his songs on repeat. He requested that his birthday party be Ed Sheeran-themed.

‘So he asked me to invite Ed to his birthday party and I said, “Of course I will.” Here’s the problem, she now 100 percent believes Ed Sheeran is coming to her birthday party.’

Alexandra then shows a clip of Ren telling the camera that she’s sure Ed will show up and brings him a microphone.

In June, the mother of three opened up about her son’s desire to play the musical instrument at his birthday party, and it caught Ed’s attention.

‘We invited him so of course he will come,’ said the boy.

‘What shall I do? He’s so precious, it’s just easy in his mind,’ Alexandra added. ‘If anyone knows where I can order an Ed Sheeran outfit… or Ed, if you’re watching this and you want to show him or send him a microphone, it would be the best birthday ever.’

The Utah-based mom explained that she designed the invitations to look like Ed’s concert tickets, got cookies to look like his album covers and ordered a cake with his face on it in preparation for the party.

She also bought music-themed decorations and made gift bags to look like the singer.

Nearly nine million people watched the initial video and began tagging Ed in hopes that he would see it.

And apparently, their tactics worked — because in a follow-up video shared earlier this month, Alexandra revealed that the musician mailed her a giant package filled to the brim with treats.

‘His face when he realized it was from Ed,’ Alexandra wrote above another clip showing the youngster smiling at the camera.

They brought it inside and she excitedly tore off the wrapping paper and began to open the box.

Inside was a guitar, a signed copy of Ed’s latest album, Minus, a t-shirt and a blue bird stuffed animal.

But it didn’t end there. After unzipping the guitar case, they discovered more gifts – including a microphone and a notebook with a special note on it.
