Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has had a wonderful few months of his own.
The Cameroon native was named the NBA MVP in May and now, two months later, he’s tied the knot with Anne De Paula — a former Sports Illustrated model, no less.
Embiid and De Paula, 28 and 29 respectively, officially became man and wife in Southampton, New York.
The pair already share a son together, Arthur, who is currently two years old. He was applauded by NBA fans after greeting his father on the court during the MVP ceremony.
Film producer friend Michael D. De Paula and Embiid were married in a church, according to Ratner’s Instagram.
The reigning MVP is married to his longtime partner Anne Di Paola — a Sports Illustrated model.
