Novak Djokovic and wife Jelena share a kiss with their children before crashing to the ground during an aqua obstacle course on a Croatian holiday

Novak Djokovic and his wife Jelena shared a kiss while enjoying some time at a water park on Copacabana Beach in Dubrovnik, Croatia on Saturday.

The 36-year-old tennis pro was seen wearing a pair of white swim shorts covered in a green shark print while Jelena, 37, wore a red bikini.

High school sweethearts Novak and Jelena, who married in 2014, were joined by their two children Stefan, eight, and Tara, five.

All the family members were in good spirits as they played in the inflatable aqua park floating in the sea right next to the beach.

Both Novak and Jelena are seen climbing over various obstacles as they slip and fall down, much to the amusement of their children.

Earlier this week, the Serbian athlete, whose yacht, presumably named after his daughter, was anchored off Dubrovnik’s Copacabana beach earlier this week.

Local newspapers reported that he first stayed in Montenegro before heading west to Croatia, sailing around the Adriatic coast with the family.

This is not the first time that the athlete has been fascinated by water. He is one of the celebrities known to be a regular on the Croatian coast, for work and pleasure.

After her Wimbledon win last year that saw her hailed as the ‘greatest tennis player of all time’, she too headed to Dubrovnik with her brother, happily posing for pictures with eager fans.

His journey began almost a week after the 16-year-old junior lost to Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz on Center Court.

It saw Novak fly into a rage and smash his tennis racket against a net post in frustration – a stunt that earned him a £6,117 fine. The figure was deducted from his runner-up check of £1.175m.

Novak lost more that day than the final. He missed out on equaling Roger Federer’s record eight Wimbledon men’s singles titles and drawing level with Margaret Court’s record 24 Grand Slam singles titles.

The Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open in the same year saw him bid farewell to the prospect of becoming the first man in over 50 years to complete the calendar Slam. This opportunity is unlikely to pass him by again.

All over the seas: The sportsman, from Serbia, had a yacht named after his daughter, presumably anchored off Dubrovnik’s Copacabana beach earlier this week.

And now that Carlos is reaching age, Novak’s chances of adding more Grand Slams to his collection may be diminishing.

The 20-year-old world number one took full advantage to win 1-6 7-6 (6) 6-1 3-6 6-4 after four hours and 42 minutes.

Novak and his wife Jelena attended the same high school in Serbia with a sports academy and started dating in the early 2000s, their first date being at a sports bar in Monte Carlo.

According to Hello! magazine, Jelena previously said: ‘It was almost like science fiction for us to get together. I was a student making very little, and he was a very young tennis player who didn’t even have money for expensive trips.

‘Airplanes were beyond our reach at the time. We made and made plans of how to meet, how to make our relationship work.’

After Jelena graduated, the couple moved together to Monte Carlo where she attended the International University of Monaco to study for her master’s degree.

They married at the Aman Sveti Stefan resort in Montenegro in 2014, at which time Jelena was pregnant with their first child.

‘Seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress, smiling and walking towards me… she looked like an angel,’ Novak told Hello! Their wedding magazine.

‘I was trying to be present in the moment and memorize it. I was focused on her, and her smile, and our baby. It really was a perfect moment.’

Jelena added: ‘I was so nervous and everything felt like a blur. I was looking at him through tears and immediately started crying when I saw him.

‘I was very happy and maybe being pregnant made it quite difficult to control emotions. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner.’
