A glamor model who calls herself ‘Lucious Lorna’ has avoided jail by dragging a teaching assistant to the ground, headbutting her and pulling out a lock of her hair.
Single mother-of-five Lorna Silcock, 33, dragged Keleigh Rutherford to the ground in a public park in Macclesfield, Cheshire, after the latter accused her of ‘bullying’ her children.
The attack happened on April 10 last year in front of Miss Rutherford’s toddler and 12-year-old daughter during the Easter holiday.
The victim said the brutal attack left her ‘scared’ to leave the house and ‘unable to string a sentence together’ due to the trauma of the ordeal.
But a judge at Chester Crown Court sentenced Silcock to 14 weeks behind bars, suspended for 18 months, meaning he avoided jail.

Before the attack, Miss Rutherford, who works at a primary school in Macclesfield, scolded the Silcock children for teasing her daughter – but they replied: ‘Our mum will hit you.’
In a statement the victim, who suffered concussions, a black eye and a dislocated finger, said: ‘I felt unsafe leaving the house for fear of something like this happening again.
‘It made me feel isolated. I was sent home from work due to panic and fear of leaving the house.
‘The children saw me crying after the attack and for weeks I couldn’t get a sentence together. I kept forgetting what I was talking about. My daughter witnessed the attack while screaming and crying. He’s just young and doesn’t need to see anything like this.
‘He doesn’t want to see me go anywhere alone if I get hurt again, he wants to box to protect himself and protect me. I feel completely empty mentally and emotionally every day, I just want to go back to my normal self.’
At Chester Crown Court, Silcock, a beautician from Macclesfield who models on subscription website Exclusive Link, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm and was sentenced to 14 months in prison, suspended for 18 months with a requirement to complete 20 rehabilitation activity days.
Her friend Atlanta Hewitt, 30, of Macclesfield, who was pregnant at the time of the attack, was sentenced to 26 weeks, suspended for 12 months with 25 rehabilitation days.
Both were ordered to pay £100 costs and a five-year restraining order banning them from contacting Miss Rutherford.
Miss Rutherford (pictured) said the brutal attack left her ‘scared’ to leave the house and ‘couldn’t put a sentence together’ due to the trauma of the ordeal.
Joanne Moore, prosecuting, said: ‘The whole incident appears to have started at an earlier date when Miss Silcock’s children had behaved indecently with Miss Rutherford’s daughter. They messaged him and the messages got heated.
‘Miss Rutherford, who was with her baby, saw her eldest daughter, aged 12, playing unaccompanied in the park and went to check on her in light of her abuse a few days earlier.
‘When he reached the park, he recognized some teenagers who were misbehaving with the child and calling him **g.
‘As she approached her daughter the teenagers said something and she said “I’ll talk to your mum” – but they became abusive and she became scared.
‘They said, ‘Our mother is going to hit you’ and at this point, Miss Hewitt came out of Silcock’s address, holding a baby, followed by Miss Silcock. Miss Hewitt approached Miss Rutherford and mouthed, ‘What’s the matter with you?’
Miss Moore said Hewitt then turned around and handed the baby to someone standing behind her before turning back to Miss Rutherford and then both women began attacking her.
Miss Moore said: ‘One woman punched him repeatedly and another woman punched and pulled him by the hair’.
‘At one point he fell to the floor. When he tried to get up, Hewitt kicked him in the shoulder. Silcock pinned him to the floor and put his foot on his neck.
Atlanta Hewitt (pictured), 30, also of Macclesfield, who took part in the attack, was sentenced to 26 weeks, suspended for 12 months with 25 rehabilitation days.
“Have you had enough yet?” she said. He then patted her head. As she tried to stand up she felt Hewitt kick her in the side and punch her in the head. Miss Silcock was still on top of him.
‘His hands were on his neck. He bit down to try and get her off. At that moment he remembered being dragged away by Miss Silcock.
‘Miss Rutherford was taken to her mother’s address for assistance and later attended A&E. Injuries to his face, a broken ring finger on his left hand that needed to be reset. He also needs hand therapy.
She said she was suffering from hair loss due to hair pulling. When she gave her initial statement about the attack, she said it had affected her life. He said he did not eat or sleep properly. He was afraid to enter the park.
He said his 12-year-old daughter witnessed the incident. While she was putting on a brave face, she said she knew it affected her.
‘She said the other children were impressed when they saw the bruises on her face. It affected his mother and father. Her mother had not had a heart attack in a long time and this increased her anxiety.
‘One witness described Miss Rutherford as having been effectively set upon. He described Silcock running from the house and that both he and Hewitt attacked him and took him to the floor, punching, kicking and headbutting him. He was seen punching Miss Rutherford several times in the face.
‘There were a number of children around when Miss Rutherford was being assaulted. She had a baby in a pram and her 12-year-old was also present. The impact continues to this day, especially since, unfortunately, other people have taken it upon themselves to shout his name in the streets as he has come to court.’

In mitigation for Silcock, who has three daughters and two sons aged between 16 and 6, defense lawyer Nicholas Kerrush-Jones said: ‘This incident should not have happened – but feelings were high on Miss Silcock’s part.
‘There was an issue that concerned her children and it’s fair to say her emotions got the better of her.
‘He says he regrets it. He had no intention of getting into a fight with Miss Rutherford but the situation got out of hand.’
Judge Miss Recorder Karen Ridge said: ‘Miss Rutherford was dragged to the floor, her hair was pulled, she was punched in the face, causing significant bruising and hit to the head. All this happened in the presence of her baby and daughter.
‘It must have been a truly frightening experience for those who witnessed the incident. The violence that was used was illegal and cannot be condoned in any way. Miss Rutherford was and continues to be affected.’
