An Atlanta TikTok creator has sparked a fierce online controversy after posting a video of a friend’s birthday dinner descending into chaos because he refused to split the $4,600 bill equally.
TikToker Viccgotti, who has 1.4 million followers, can be seen animatedly arguing that she shouldn’t have to split the huge bill for her friend’s meal, instead arguing that she should pay for what she ate.

But the woman celebrating her birthday suggests she hopes her friends will also cover her food to boot – telling Vicgo: ‘It’s my birthday, why should I give anything on my birthday?’

The video, which has been liked almost a million times in 24 hours, shows the group making a scene at the upscale restaurant as Vicgo points out everyone else’s expensive orders. It is not clear what he ordered himself.

The woman is celebrating her birthday, telling Vicgotti, ‘It’s my birthday, why should I get something for my birthday?’
‘I’m not splitting the bill, it’s crazy! You expect us to split the bill!’ she shouted.
A woman in a vibrant pink suit said: ‘We go out together we split the bill. Period!’
However, another disagreed, taking to his feet and saying, ‘You’ve got lamb chops, you’ve got steak, look at what they’ve got and they’re about to split the bill. You order too much and then want to split the bill,’ he explained.
In a follow-up post Viccgotti revealed that sadly she and her friend, whom she has known since third grade, are no longer on friendly terms.
Explaining what happened next in another video, he said: ‘We ended up calling the waiter and I told him, ‘Don’t split anything for me, they can split if they want but we’re not here for that’.
The video’s audience was evenly divided as to whether it worked properly.
‘I’m never going to argue about splitting a bill. I’m just going to pay for my food order and tip, contribute whatever I want to the birthday person, and leave’ one user commented.
Viccgotti, who has 1.4 million followers on TikTok, said he would never pay more than an order at a restaurant.
