Kate Middleton has become a ‘very confident mother’ but is ‘aware of the pressures of raising the future royal’, a royal expert has claimed.

According to royal writer Angela Levine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 41, are trying to raise their three children as naturally as possible.

On Saturday, the eldest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales will celebrate his 10th birthday.

Speaking to OK!, Kate gave expert commentary on how she has thrived in her role as a parent.

He explained: ‘Kate is a very confident mum. But still, he is acutely aware of the pressure to raise George as the future king. It is too heavy a burden to bear.’

What’s more, the royal biographer also commented on her children’s portraits of the Princess of Wales – which the family often reveals on their birthdays.

According to Angela, Kate wanted to develop her photography skills to ‘protect’ George from sitting for formal portraits.

Highlighting the positive effects of the approach, the expert said: ‘It seems George couldn’t care less about being caught on camera and that’s great.

‘The way Kate dealt with it was very, very good.’

On top of that, the royal expert opened up about William and Kate’s day-to-day parenting routine.

According to Angela, the children all have ‘cleaning jobs’ around the house – which involve putting things away and wiping down surfaces.

In doing so, experts say the Princess of Wales is trying to teach her children to take care of themselves in small ways.

Meanwhile, Angela noted how Prince George used to ‘cling’ to his parents when he appeared in public – but now seems increasingly confident.

Referring to Prince George’s recent appearances at Wimbledon and Lord’s, Angela said the young royal seemed ‘relaxed and happy’ to appear in public.

Last week, Prince George joined his parents and two younger siblings on a surprise visit to RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.

As they arrived at the airfield, the royals confidently shook hands and shook hands with a member of the RAF who was showing them around the aircraft.

The royal wore a light blue Ralph Lauren polo shirt, green chinos and brown suede shoes – just like her father.

After a royal fan account shared the heartwarming photo on Twitter, others were surprised by how much George looked like his father.

‘He’s turning into William,’ said one.

Another shuddered and said: ‘Oh God! George is so tall and looks like William.’

Highlighting how George is ‘taking fashion advice’ from his dad, a third said: ‘Omg! He looks a lot like William! And suede shoes!!!’

What’s more, others said it was clear how much more confident Prince George seemed in public than in previous years.

One commented: ‘He carries himself like a grown man!’

‘Shakes hands and looks him in the eye,’ said another. ‘Excellent young man.’
