The Rolls-Royce ghost was lifted after careful calculations and tests. The 2.5-ton luxury car is owned by a billionaire businessman in China.
A video has captured the dramatic moment a Chinese billionaire lifted a £300,000 Rolls-Royce into a penthouse.
The luxury Rolls-Royce Ghost was sent to the 44th floor of a high-rise building when the wealthy businessman decided he wanted to park his car on his balcony.
The clip reveals the height at which the car is finally placed, overlooking a city skyline of similarly tall buildings.
The car is perfectly positioned as a driver makes final adjustments to the car’s position on the porch.
According to SuperCarBlondy, the 2.5-ton car was lifted 550 feet up the side of a skyscraper in China’s Fujian province.
Due to the huge weight of the precious vehicle, the company behind the operation to lift it said that pulling it requires carefully calculated tests.
Lifting the Rolls-Royce up to the penthouse needed to be secured in a custom-made iron cage with the strength of three steel cables.
The jaw-dropping scene was captured by Instagram user @kurdistan.millionare.cars, generating 196,000 views.
Some social media users were not impressed by the engineering feat.

Another said: ‘When you have too much money, it goes to your head and you don’t know what else to do. That’s all.’
A third user believed it could be an answer to their parking woes, posting: ‘I don’t want to pay for parking – this is the answer.’
It comes after wealthy property investor Adrian Portelli, known as ‘Mr Lambo’, used a crane to lift a racecar 57 floors for display in his Melbourne penthouse earlier this year.
