Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have confirmed they have split after seven years of marriage, saying they made the ‘tough decision’ to divorce.
The Colombian-American actress, 51, and the Magic Mike star, 46, tied the knot in Florida in 2015 but have now decided to go their separate ways.
Sources exclusively told DailyMail.com that the pair split due to their ‘different views’ – after first bonding to be opposites.
In a statement, the couple shared: ‘We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people who love and care for each other very much, we politely ask for our privacy to be respected as we navigate this new phase of our lives.’

Joe is absent at a close friends wedding
Sofia attended her Modern Family co-star Sarah Hyland’s wedding to Welles Addams last August without Zoe.
Her husband Joe was not seen at the event, with a source saying he could not attend due to his busy work schedule.
Sofia instead brought her son Manolo, 31, whom she shares with her first husband Joe Gonzalez, to the festival.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly of Joe’s absence: ‘Joe’s hectic work schedule prevented him from attending.’
The wedding was attended by 150 guests, with Sarah, who played Haley Dunphy on Modern Family from 2009-2020, supported by several of my co-stars from the ABC series.
For the event, Sophia Brand Bamba stunned in a black and white dress, with a floral design and a one-shoulder sweetheart neckline.
She completed the look with a crystal embroidered mini Valentino LOCÒ handbag in silver and black.

The couple relists their Beverly Hills home
In May, it was revealed that Sofia and Joe had relisted their $18 million Beverly Hills home, just over a year after it first hit the market with a $20 million price tag.
The couple put their sprawling 11,000-square-foot home on the market for $7.4 million more than they bought the 1.5-acre property in 2014.
Since first buying the property, the couple has remodeled the Italian-inspired mansion with the help of interior designer Jennifer Bevan.
The sought-after specialist built-in, preserved the Tuscan-villa vibe but updated the style with white walls and black accents.
The massive home features a 10-seat movie theater, full-size gym with sauna, and 3,000-bottle wine cellar, which also features a curved staircase and French doors.
The primary bedroom has dual closets and a spa-like bath with a fireplace on the balcony, while the backyard is secluded and private with a large inground pool, hot tub, and expansive lawn.
Adjacent to the mansion are a guesthouse, a sports court and two motor courts with space for four cars.

The estate is located in the highly exclusive and desirable neighborhood of Beverly Park in the heart of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. The estate is perched high on the hill while being just minutes from local restaurants.
Some of Vergara’s neighbors include celebrities such as Denzel Washington, Sylvester Stallone and Eddie Murphy.
Fans accused Joe of ‘cold’ birthday tribute
Earlier this month, Joe came under scrutiny from fans after taking to Instagram to post a 51st birthday tribute for his wife Sofia.
However, many fans labeled it as ‘cold’ and many expressed their concern about the pair’s relationship status after the post.
He shared a picture of him and his wife hugging as they celebrated his big day in Italy and shared his best wishes in a caption.
The actor kept the caption simple for his 2.7 million fans as he wrote: ‘¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!’
But the comment section of the post was filled with concerned fans as one wrote: ‘Joe, I hope you are ok, this was a very different (cool) happy birthday wish for your wife, compared to the previous ones! [sad face emoji]’
Another said: ‘Something is confirmed. He did not comment on the photo he posted. Hmmm……..’

Sofia hasn’t featured Joe in any of her Instagram posts since, while her last post was a tribute to his 51st birthday earlier this month.
Sofia has since jetted off to spend some alone time with her friends and loved ones in Italy, posting pictures of herself exploring with her close friends.
Partying without Joe
Sophia recently hosted a Fourth of July party with her family and a group of friends, but Joe didn’t attend.
The star, who plays Gloria on Modern Family, took to Instagram to share some photos from her lavish party, looking like she was having a great time.

However, Joe was seemingly nowhere to be seen at the festival as he didn’t show up in any group shots from the bash.
