FIFO dump truck worker Ashlea has revealed the benefits her life has gained as a result of her job in Perth on TikTok

A FIFO worker dubbed the ‘hottest truck driver in the world’ has spoken of the perks of his well-paid job and mocked his ‘haters’.

Ashlea broke down her lavish lifestyle in a TikTok clip showing how her job driving a dump truck in a mine in remote Western Australia gives her extra time to travel the world, party, eat at expensive restaurants and save up huge cash.

But the salty pinup known for her social media channels has also attracted cruel trolls online, calling her a ‘TikTok Bimbo’.

‘This page was created by (TikTtok creator) himself and has the title of the most popular truck driver in the world,’ he said.

‘It’s a bit more responsibility but I appreciate it.

‘If you’re a guy who’s not even that hot, then stop. I didn’t want to write it right.’

FIFO worker Ashlea (pictured) has revealed how her well-paid job allows her to ‘do whatever *** I want’ in response to viewer questions about her lifestyle.

The bubbly blonde says she ‘prefers’ it to be ‘super cool s***’.

In response to a viewer’s question, she said in the TikTok clip, ‘I have a very beautiful life.

‘So how do I achieve this? First of all I do a two-by-two roster, so I have two weeks off every month, so that gives me a lot of time to do some really cool stuff.

‘If you follow me (on social media) you know I’m always going to events, I’m always partying, I’m always travelling, I’m always eating out, doing everything I love.’

Ashlea breaks down the contributing factors that enabled her to fund her extravagant lifestyle including being single, having no debt and no children.

He recently sold an investment property and is currently living at home with his mother.

‘I’ve just sold my investment property, so my bank account is looking pretty good at the moment,’ he said.

‘I literally do whatever I want.’

Ashlea then revealed that she was jetting off to the US at the end of July for a ‘five to six week’ tour.

In the TikTok video, the bubbly blonde explained that factors such as being single, not having kids, not having debt and staying at home also helped fund her extravagant lifestyle.

Ashlea told her viewers that those who follow her on social media know that she is ‘always going to events, always partying, always travelling, always eating out’.

In a series of videos she shared last year, Ashlea outlined how much her salary had grown since starting as a FIFO worker.

‘When I first started as a trainee I was paid $36 an hour and we worked 12 hour days. After about three months, my rate went up to $43.50 an hour. In my first year as a green (truck driver) I was making about $94,000 – 95,000 a year,’ he said.

After his first year at the mine he changed contractors and received a huge jump in pay as a result.

‘My new rate is about $51.50 an hour so that’s pretty good. And the contracting company I’m with pays you a bonus every month you stay with them – it’s about $2,000,’ she said.

‘Annually, at my rate of $51.50, that would be about $112,000 a year plus my bonus which could be about $10,000. So about $122,000 for my first year.

Ashley had no experience before applying for her first job at the mine and spent her first three months working as a barmaid before moving on to contract work.

‘Hope it helps. I think it’s pretty good to work as a truckie for only six months of the year.’

‘Trucks are very easy to drive. I was lucky enough to get truck driver training for dump trucks with McMahons Contractors and they did a truck school at their head office in Perth before I went on site,’ he said in an earlier video.

‘So for two weeks I went to the head office in Perth and you learned all about the mine site, the different machines and you got to know the trucks yourself.

‘I immediately felt confident after flying to the site and started driving the truck. When you visit the site though you don’t start driving straight away.’

Ashlea has had a very positive experience as a FIFO worker and uses her free time to book holidays and visit family and friends.

He added: ‘The truck cab is on the opposite site of your car and you have a really limited view of the truck. ‘

She describes the room she sleeps in as ‘clean and big’, has a women’s only gym on site with pink wallpaper, free sanitary products in the bathroom and a variety of fresh food on site.

Despite the stereotype, Ashlea said most men are there to work and she doesn’t get any undue attention from other employees.
