Sonia Kruger, 57, has finally lifted the lid to unveil her closely guarded pre-red carpet event ahead of the Logie Awards.

Sonia recommends staying hydrated, setting a phone alarm to remind you to drink water regularly. ‘A minimum of eight glasses a day,’ she instructs.
She believes in the importance of regular hydration, cleansing, toning and moisturizing.
Keeping her skin calm is important to her, especially since she suffers from occasional rosacea flare-ups. In the lead-up to a red carpet event, Sonia steers clear of new products and sticks to what she knows won’t cause any problems.

Pre-red carpet ritual
The week leading up to an event is crucial for Sonia. ‘General maintenance,’ as she calls it, manicures, facials and spray tans are part of her ritual.
The order is important – nails first, then a facial and finally, a spray tan.
Contrary to what one might think, Sonia’s spray tan isn’t about bronzing her skin.
‘It’s more about evening out my skin tone. That’s what I look for in a tanning product,’ she clarifies.
She trusts organic Tasmanian-based company Three Warriors for their natural colors that don’t go overboard. ‘It’s not too dark. It just brings out the color of my skin.’
‘On the red carpet, body makeup is now just as important as face makeup,’ she adds.

This fitness trend, he believes, has been a game changer. Even with gyms reopening, many continue to enjoy the convenience, cost-effectiveness and privacy of a home workout.
‘It’s one of those things where you can be really, really sick. And it doesn’t matter, nobody’s going to dance around your living room laughing,’ she laughs.
