Barbie fever is in full swing – and now, Burger King has released a pink burger in honor of the upcoming film
The limited edition cheeseburger comes with a smoky pink sauce, crispy diced bacon, and Ken’s fries as well as a Barbie donut milkshake when ordered as a meal.
Fans went wild for the new burger after its launch was announced on social media, with one excited Twitter user writing: ‘Hold up. I have to get the bundle of barbie burgers.’
However, this is bad news for UK customers as the food is only available in Brazil, via delivery or take-out. It is not clear how much it will cost.
Kane’s potatoes are similar to regular fries, but served in themed packets, while pink milkshakes are vanilla and strawberry flavored. According to the New York Post, the drink is topped with a pink and white striped donut.

Fast-food fans were quick to comment on the new dish with one writing: ‘The Brazilians win again. Come back with the barbie burger.’
Another said: ‘I’m off to Brazil to buy them all,’ while a third added: ‘Sorry can’t hang out this weekend. It’s important that I get a barbie meal from Burger King and enjoy the fruits of my labor.’
However, not everyone was impressed with the burger. One person said on Twitter: ‘Brazil’s Burger King just released a new ‘Pink Barbie Burger’ and it doesn’t look great. They say the pink sauce is just a ‘pink smoky sauce’, but it still looks pretty gross to me.’
In photographs of the Pink Burger, it appears to be a simple cheeseburger – but upon closer inspection, customers will be able to see a layer of pink sauce on top of the cheese.
It comes after Burger King sent foodies wild when it unveiled one of its latest offerings – a cheeseburger with no meat and 20 slices of cheese.
