Ellie McPherson, 59, reveals her age-defying beauty secret: ‘It changed my life’
Ellie McPherson will turn 60 next year, but often impresses fans with her age-defying looks.
The Australian supermodel attributes her ageless beauty to proper nutrition and natural vitamin supplements in her body.
Posting to her Instagram story on Thursday, Ellie shared an old interview with NBC’s Megyn Kelly on Today discussing her diet and how she looks so flawless in her fifties.
‘When I turned 50 I wasn’t feeling too well and I wasn’t looking too well,’ Ellie said.
‘I noticed my skin, hair and weight… I wasn’t feeling motivated, I had sugar cravings and had poor digestion.’

The Australian supermodel attributes her ageless beauty to supplementing her body with the right nutrients and natural vitamins.
He continued: ‘So, I went to my nutritionist and said listen, something’s wrong, I need to address my lifestyle.
‘He said I was taking too many synthetic vitamins so he put me on a powerful multivitamin, prebiotic and probiotic powder.
‘So I started taking it because I was kind of malnourished and I wasn’t getting enough sleep and I wasn’t eating enough fruit and vegetables and I was drinking too much coffee.’
The supermodel said that after being on this new nutrition plan for a month and taking this natural multivitamin, her life was ‘transformed’.
‘I saw such a change and my friend, who is now my CEO, said, “Do you look amazing?” And I told him that I was taking this green powder and it changed my life.
Ellie’s dramatic transformation led her to start her own natural supplement business and wellness empire, WellCo.

It comes as the internationally renowned supermodel bombshell admits she never liked modelling, but is grateful for the business opportunities it has brought her.
‘I don’t love modeling but I love what modeling has brought me,’ she said on ITV’s This Morning last May.
‘I love visualizing and producing and art directing and seeing magic come to life and this was a beautiful way for me to end because I travel, I’m independent and I have huge career opportunities because of it.’
Asked if modeling has opened many doors for her, Ellie said, ‘I think we’re supposed to step through those doors, those doors may open but lean into your heart, trust your intuition and move on. “It feels right. I’m going to take a step towards it.”‘
