The Superbad actor was recently accused of sending ’emotionally abusive’ texts to his ex-girlfriend Sarah Brady, who has been posting years-old messages on social media all week.
Discussing the issue, Life Uncut’s Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne sided with Brady and blasted Hill for masquerading her relationship rules as ‘boundaries’.
‘It’s not a boundary, it’s a rule book he gave her,’ Byrne said, calling Hill’s behavior ‘manipulative’.
‘If those texts are real then it is very problematic,’ he added.

The Superbad actor was accused of sending ’emotionally abusive’ texts to his ex-girlfriend Sarah Brady, who has been posting the year-old messages on social media all week.
Giving his two cents, Hockley said, ‘It’s gaslighting, it’s manipulation, it’s coercion, it’s control.’
While the pair condemned the Hollywood A-lister, they also explained that her behavior stemmed from ‘her own insecurities’ with self-esteem and body image, which Hill has revealed in the past.
‘It’s very easy to paint people as one-dimensional and paint them as this evil person, but I think it’s interesting to unpack where that kind of behavior comes from,’ Byron opines.
‘Jonah Hill has been in the media for a long time and there’s always been a discussion about her weight, there’s always been a discussion about how she looks,’ he continued.
‘And he talks very openly about the insecurities he has as a person,’ says Byron, adding that Hill suffers from ‘self-loathing’.
Agreeing, Hockley said, ‘The way the media has treated him over the years is appalling.’
She added, ‘Nobody deserves the level of body-shaming that she’s experienced and she’s been open about it.’

The internet was abuzz this week when Hill’s ex-girlfriend took to social media to brand the actor a ‘misogynist’ and ‘narcissist’ by sharing alleged text messages from the star.
And now the 26-year-old surf instructor has revealed why he waited until his new girlfriend gave birth before posting the alleged receipt.
Brady posted a voice memo on Instagram on Sunday to explain the timing of his posts out of respect for the pregnancy of Jonah’s girlfriend, Olivia Miller, 39.
He can be heard saying: ‘I didn’t want to [Millar] She had to watch all this while she was pregnant because I didn’t know what kind of stress it would put on her and her baby physically.’
‘It’s very easy to paint people as one-dimensional and to paint them as this evil person, but I think it’s interesting to unpack where that kind of behavior comes from,’ Byron opines.
The surf instructor went on to say that he knows ‘the timing may seem bad’ but he hopes Miller ‘looks at the posts to make an informed decision about taking care of herself and her child.
‘I just hope that she gets some of these screenshots through friends, like, my friends that I’ve met through her that I know are good people that will try to protect her.’
It comes just a day after Brady blasted the Superbad star by taking to Instagram to share messages sent by him that appeared to reveal their past arguments.
The alleged texts from Hill show him outlining his parameters for a ‘romantic partnership’. The two dated for about a year in 2021.

In a post on the Life Uncut Instagram account, Brittany and Laura shared a message about ‘personal boundaries’
The rollout of scathing statements against the movie producer began with an Instagram Stories post shared by Brady with the caption, ‘F*** it’.
The screenshot shows two messages from Jonah on December 2, 2021.
Apparently the long initial text from Jonah included a list of unacceptable behavior for Sarah if they were to be together romantically.
The new father mentioned things including ‘surfing with men’, ‘inappropriate friendships with men’ and ‘posting pictures of himself in a bathing suit’ which were off limits to his then-girlfriend.
He also said that if Sarah ‘needs’ to model, ‘post sexual images’ or be friends with women who have been part of his ‘wild recent past’, then she is ‘not the right partner’ for him.
“The way he’s been treated by the media over the years is appalling,” Hockley said of Hill
In another post of his alleged messages, Brady claimed that Hill only wanted to socialize with friends whom he ‘personally approved’.
The entertainer, whose documentary Stutz was released on Netflix last year, added, ‘If these things bring you to a place of happiness, I support it and there will be no hard feelings. These are my boundaries for romantic partnerships.’
He then clarified, ‘My boundary with you is based on the way these actions hurt our trust.’
Sarah wrote to her nearly 80,000 followers online, ‘Seeing the misuse of the word “boundary”?’
Brady framed her posts as a ‘warning to all girls’.
‘If your partner talks to you like this, plan an exit,’ she captioned a screenshot showing Hill complaining about social media photos of her featuring ‘a thong in a*’.

Brady blasted Hill’s text messages all over Instagram, calling them a form of ‘misogyny’
While Brady hinted that he had deleted some of the allegedly offensive photos, the Wolf of Wall Street star told his then-girlfriend that it was a ‘good start’ but she didn’t seem to ‘get over it’. .
But it is not my place to teach you. I have cleared my boundaries,’ he confirmed. ‘You refused to give them anything and you made it clear and I hope that makes you happy.’
Brady maintained that her ex-boyfriend’s criticism was an attempt to control her.
He explained that he agreed to her request in an attempt to prevent her from experiencing ‘crippling anxiety’.
Speaking to her fans, Sarah admitted: ‘It’s been a year of healing and growth with the help of loved ones and doctors, getting back to living my life without guilt, shame and self-judgment for the little things like surfing in a swimsuit. Rather than a more conservative wetsuit.’
He continued, ‘And I’m sure there is much more healing ahead of me from this abuse.’
The couple regularly coordinated their outfits before their romance turned sour
The former couple first went public with their romance in August 2021 when Jonah contacted her online and their relationship went viral.
Sarah said on Friday that she is ‘sharing this publicly now because keeping it to myself is causing more damage to my mental health than sharing it.’
He explains that he takes ‘responsibility’ for Hill’s actions when they talk to their therapist.
As part of his tirade against his ex, the athlete noted, ‘I hope my ex has a daughter, maybe she’ll turn him into a real feminist.
‘Cause the fact that she calls herself a feminist is ridiculous now. … If I could have one wish for her, it’s that she’s surrounded by feminist men who can hold her accountable for growing up the way she’s expressed.’
The law student said, ‘I think fame can put people in an echo chamber of attitudes, which can enable emotionally abusive behaviour.’
