Queensland mum Lynn swears by slow cooker meals and reveals she makes it at least once a week when she wants a hearty dinner.
The dish requires butter, a potato, a slice of pumpkin, an onion, three cloves of garlic, two chicken legs, and some tinned Gravoux to recreate – and it takes three hours in a 1.5 liter slow cooker.
Lynn recommends preparing some greens on the side to enjoy with your dinner.

How to Make Roast Chicken Dinner
Ingredients:
2 chicken legs
1 onion, peeled
1 potato, halved
broccoli (optional)
1 pumpkin slice
3 cloves of garlic
Gravox
green beans (optional)
Procedure:
Place chicken and vegetables in a 1.5 liter slow cooker Cook on ‘high’ for three hours Steam broccoli and green beans on the side Mix Gravox with cold water to make gravy Empty contents of slow cooker on a plate Combine gravy with remaining juices from slow cooker and pour over chicken and vegetables Serve with a sprinkling of greens and enjoy
‘This is my little roast dinner for one,’ the mum captioned a delicious photo of her dinner.
The method is simple, Lynn halves a potato, slices pumpkin, peels an onion and throws some garlic cloves into her slow cooker along with two chicken legs.
He cooked food on high for three hours while he performed other chores and errands.
Ma said that although the potatoes were a bit soggy, the vegetable was tasty and had several ‘crispy spots’ on the surface.
Lynn usually adds a large Gravox and cold water to the juice to make a thick gravy that she drizzles over her food.
